Door Step Ministry | The Doorstep Ministry is a ‘welcoming’ ministry whose volunteers deliver welcome gift bags to first time attenders who live in the area. Each colorful bag is assembled with a church coffee mug, magnet, notepad, pencil, and other ‘goodies’, along with a letter of welcome. Volunteers are notified by email & the bags are delivered to the local resident and then followed up with a phone call.

Martha’s Hands | Volunteers prepare meals for church (and sometimes community) members who are ill, following surgery, new baby, or death in the family. The coordinator contacts the recipient by phone to discuss their needs and diet restrictions, and a schedule template, with these details, is set up using the website TakeThemaMeal.com. An email to the volunteers is sent with a link to the website, where they can sign up for a date to take a meal. The volunteer contacts the recipient directly the morning of their date to coordinate delivery.
