Mid-Winter Advance
What is Mid-Winter Advance?
Our church has been going to Keswick for over 20 years and it is an amazing retreat. Really cool music, speakers, a crazy team of college kids, indoor pool, and of course, a super intense volleyball tournament. The Registration and Deposit for this trip were required by Sunday Night Youth Group, November 8th, 2009 - However, we still have spots left so you are still able to register until further notice. The dates for Mid-Winter Advance (Keswick) are as follows:
Sr. High (9th–12th Graders)–January 8th–10th, 2010 (Mid-Winter Advance #1)
Jr. High (7th-8th Graders) – February 5th–7th, 2010 (Mid-Winter Advance #5)
We depart from the church by 6:15pmn Friday and are picked up on Sunday by 12:00pm. America’s Keswick is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour away in Ocean County, NJ. *The Superbowl is Sunday, February 7th, however, we will be home by 1pm on Sunday and the Superbowl does not start until much later! Students will have a great experience participating in music, games, and seminars that talk about real-life issues.
How much does it cost?
A deposit of $35 was needed by Sunday, November 8th, in order to guarantee a spot, since there are still space available the deposit may be turned in along with the registration form until all spots are filled. A remaining balance of $85 must be paid prior to departure of the trip. Total cost of the trip is $120. Scholarships and Fundraising Opportunities are available through the Youth Office 856-866-0285. ALL CHECKS CAN BE MADE OUT TO “FUMC YOUTH”.
