ASP Summer Missions
Do something important this summer!
Appalachia Service Project (ASP) is a Christian ministry, open to all people, that fosters human development by addressing the housing needs of Central Appalachia. Http://www.asphome.org
The Sr. High Youth Group Mission Trip this summer will be to Raleigh County, WV. The 2007 Census registered that 1 of 5 people in this country are living below the poverty line. This ratio jumps to 1 in every 3 when dealing with children. The greatest need in this area is house and home repair. Something as simple as fixing a roof, a porch, or a wall can really change the lives of a family or individual. Won't you come out this summer and lend a hand?
Informational Meetings have already taken place for this trip, however, you will find important information listed on this website. To request a personal info meeting with Trip Leader - Brad Kenney, send an email with your contact information to aspfumc2010(at)gmail.com.
