Jeanette Ulrich has a degree in Early Childhood Education and also majored in Art. She has many years of experience teaching preschool. Jeanette is married and has two children, Benjamin, almost 12, and Julianna, 10. After having her children, she chose to be a stay-at-home mom, but always stayed involved in education through her children. She also volunteered for her children’s art teacher, Sunday school, VBS, cared for children, and was room mom several times along the way. Three years ago she took over the Mom’s Morning Out Program at FUMC. She also substituted and taught the cooking and craft Lunch Bunch Classes for us at First Light. At the end of last year she filled in for the DK Assistant full time. She was excited this year when she was offered the opportunity to teach the 2½ class. Some of Jeanette’s hobbies are cooking, painting, scrapbooking, sewing and photography. But most of all, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children camping and enjoying the outdoors.
