WORSHIP IN SONG: Sue Harris, Worship Leader
COME, NOW IS THE TIME TO WORSHIP (by Brian Doerksen)
Come, now is the time to worship; Come, now is the time to give your heart.
Come, just as you are to worship; Come, just as you are
before your God come.
One day ev’ry tongue will confess You are God, one day ev’ry knee will bow;
Still, the greatest treasure remains for those who gladly
choose You now.

INDESCRIBABLE (by Laura Story)
From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea, creations revealing Your majesty.
From the colors of Fall to the
fragrance of Spring, ev’ry creature unique in the
song that it sings. All exclaiming:
Indescribable, uncontainable; You place the stars in the sky, and You know them by name. You are amazing, God; All powerful, untamable. Awestruck, we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim You are amazing, God.
Who has told ev’ry lightning bolt where it should go or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow? Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night? None can fathom.
Indescribable, uncontainable; You
place the stars in the sky, and You know them by name. You are amazing, God; All powerful, untamable. Awestruck, we fall to our knees as we humbly
proclaim You are amazing, God. You are amazing, God. (sixsteps

COME HEAL THIS LAND (by Robin Mark)
(Praise Team) Let the exile come. Let the stranger come. Let the weary come find rest, all you homeless sons, all you widowed ones, all you poor and dispossessed. For a table waits in your Father’s house.
There the meek can come and eat. There’s a place of rest at your Father’s
breast where His mercy is complete.
Does a cry ring out from a broken nation, from a people who have been brought low?
Was pride in our hearts, and did we grieve Your Spirit? Have we blocked the ancient wells that
flowed?
Refrain: Here is our cov’nant prayer, who call upon Your name. We humble ourselves before You;
we humble ourselves. Come heal this land. Come heal this land. Come heal this land. Come heal this land.
Do the tears of One who gave all things for us, do they flow from heaven still because of us?
For we have tasted grace and we have known Your mercy, but we have not shown this grace to men. (Refrain)
So may this land we love be a place of safety, be a light for all the nations of this earth.
May Your streams of love, may they
flow here freely, here where ev’ry stranger finds a
home. (Refrain)

PRAYER OF CONFESSION:
Lord Jesus Christ, you are the way of peace.
Come into the brokenness of our lives and our land
with your healing love.
Help us to be willing to bow before you in true repentance,
and to bow to one another in real forgiveness.
By the fire of your Holy Spirit, melt our hard hearts
and consume the pride and prejudice which separate us.
fill us, o Lord, with your perfect love, which casts out our fear,
and bind us together in that unity
which you share with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

AMERICA (by Samuel F. Smith)
(verses 1, 3 &4)
My country, 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing; land where my fathers died,
land of the pilgrims' pride, from
every mountainside let freedom ring!
Let music swell the breeze, and ring from all the trees sweet freedom's song;
let mortal tongues awake; let all that breathe partake; let rocks their silence break, the sound prolong.
Our fathers' God, to thee, author of liberty, to thee we sing; long may our land be bright
with freedom's holy light; protect
us by thy might, great God our King. (Public Domain)
GOD OF THE AGES (By Daniel C. Roberts)
God of the ages, whose almighty hand leads forth in beauty all the starry band
of shining worlds in splendor
through the skies, our grateful songs before thy throne arise.
Thy love divine hath led us in the past; in this free land with thee our lot is cast;
be thou our ruler, guardian, guide,
and stay, thy Word our law, thy paths our chosen way.
From war's alarms, from deadly pestilence, be thy strong arm our ever sure defense;
thy true religion in our hearts
increase; thy bounteous goodness nourish us in peace.
Refresh thy people on their toilsome way; lead us from night to never ending day;
fill all our lives with love and
grace divine, and glory, laud, and praise be ever thine. (Public

RIGHTEOUS ONE (Bruce
& Teresa Muller)
Shining like the morning sun, Jesus, the righteous One, clothed in majesty, splendor and glory, Jesus the
righteous One. Righteous One, Holy Son, flow through this vessel of mine.
Filled with You shining through,
flow through this vessel of mine. (1991 Maranatha! Music)

OUR NEEDS TO GOD (Prayers of

PRAYER RESPONSE: THROUGH IT ALL
(by Andraé Crouch)
Through it all, through it all, I've learned to trust in Jesus, I've learned to trust in God;
through it all, through it all,
I've learned to depend upon God's word. (1971 Manna Music, Inc.)
WORSHIP IN
GIVING: Offering
SHARING THE WORD: Scripture: Mark
5:21- 34
Message: “Who Touched Me?” Pastor HeyYoung Horton
RESPONSE TO THE WORD: The Sacrament of Communion
HOLY COMMUNION AND ANOINTING FOR HEALING
The congregation is invited to receive Communion
at the Communion rails. Come forward when you are ready, and receive the
Communion elements with joy. These symbols represent the Body and Blood
of Jesus offered for our forgiveness and new life. The invitation to
receive comes from Jesus himself, and is not based on membership in this or any
other Church. While you are waiting for your place at the Communion rail,
take advantage of this quiet time to meditate, and offer your personal prayer
and praise to God.
During the Sacrament of Communion anyone who wishes to do so is
encouraged to come to the Communion rail set aside for anointing with oil and
prayer. This is for the healing of our human hurts in obedience to the
instruction in James 5:14-16. The oil represents the Holy Spirit.
Your coming forward represents your faith and submission to the will of
God. All needs may be brought into the presence of God ~ needs for physical,
emotional, or spiritual healing, as well as intercession for the needs of
others.
CLOSING HYMN 453 MORE
LOVE TO THEE, O CHRIST (by Elizabeth Prentiss)
More love to thee, O Christ, more love to thee! Hear thou the prayer I make on bended knee.
This is my earnest plea: More love, O Christ, to thee; more love to thee, more love to thee!
Once earthly joy I craved, sought peace and rest; now thee alone I seek, give what is best.
This all my prayer shall be: More love, O Christ, to thee; more love to thee, more love to thee!
Let sorrow do its work, come grief and pain; sweet are thy messengers, sweet their refrain,
when they can sing with me: More love, O Christ, to thee; more love to thee, more love to thee!
Then shall my latest breath whisper thy praise; this be the parting cry my heart shall raise;
this still its prayer shall be:
More love, O Christ, to thee; more love to thee, more love to thee! (Public

GOING FORTH: The
Benediction
A NOTE
TO PARENTS: We love children and your little ones are
welcome in our worship service. On those
days when your child is fussy, the parlor located behind the sanctuary provides
an excellent place to care for your child and still participate in the worship
service. Child care is provided for
infants and children up to 4 years old in the Education Building during Sunday
school and worship hours.
