What is Mid-Winter Advance?
Our church has been going to Keswick for over 20 years and it is an amazing retreat. Really cool music, speakers, a crazy team of college kids, indoor pool, and of course, a super intense volleyball tournament. The Registration and Deposit for this trip are required by Tuesday, November 8th, 2011 - The dates for Mid-Winter Advance (Keswick) are as follows:
Sr. High (9th– College)–January 6th–8th, 2011 (Mid-Winter Advance #1)
Jr. High (7th-8th Graders) – February 3rd–5th, 2011 (Mid-Winter Advance #5)
We depart from the church by 6:15pm Friday and arrive back to the church parking lot by approx. 1pm. America’s Keswick is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour away in Ocean County, NJ.
Students will have a great experience participating in music, games, and seminars that talk about real-life issues.
How much does it cost?
A deposit of $35 is needed by Tuesday, November 8th, in order to guarantee a spot. Registration is now available ONLINE. Click the Registration to the left of the page. Once online registration is complete and a deposit check has been sent to the church office, you will receive the release form in the mail.This is the general Keswick registration form so please send them into the church office, not to the address listed on the form. The church address is 446 E. Camden Ave, Moorestown NJ.
Fundraisers are in progress to reduce the total cost of our Keswick weekend. The weekend will not cost more than a total of $100. The balance must be paid prior to departure of the trip. Scholarships and Fundraising Opportunities are available through the Youth Office 856-866-0285. ALL CHECKS CAN BE MADE OUT TO “FUMC YOUTH”.
