Registration and Admission
Registration begins the January before the September start. We strongly encourage parents to set up a tour of the school and of the classroom they are interested in having their child attend. This can be done via telephone, 856-235-6100, or by emailing firstlight@meetwithGod.com. Once you have made the decision to enroll your child/children in First Light, the next step is to fill out the Enrollment Form 2017-2018 and send it back with the $50 non-refundable registration fee. Paper forms are also available in the Preschool office. The Enrollment Form asks you to list in order of preference three options for your child. Class determination is based on order of receipt and certain classes fill up fast. We also give preference to returning students. We will do our best to place your child in your first preference but there are no guarantees. Once your child is placed in a class, you will receive a letter from us letting you know, as well as asking for September’s tuition payment to hold your spot.
Once your child has been accepted and you have paid your first month’s tuition in advance, you will be asked to complete and return the following information packet by the Fall start of school. The items enclosed are required by the state of NJ once a year for each child who attends a NJ preschool.
