October 21 Luncheon
“Just for the Record”
Enjoy a lively demonstration of a 1908 Victor Talking Machine. Join us for a covered dish luncheon at noon, October 21st in the Fellowship Hall. Call either the Mengels at 609-702-0551, or the Whites, at 856-235-3723, by October 18th. Bring enough of your dish to feed 8 – 10 people.
After lunch, Christopher Andrew Maier will tell us about Eldridge Reeves Johnson, founder of the Victor Talking Machine Co., and we will witness a performance of his revealing 1913 memoir. It will be a fun and informative presentation with many surprises. We will have fun playing Maier’s original turntable game “NIPPER KNOWS”.
