The first Soup Dinner will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd at 6 PM in Fellowship Hall. Worship will follow in the Sanctuary at 7 PM.
For the remaining Wednesdays in Lent, Soup Suppers will be offered at 6 PM in Fellowship Hall and followed by Small Group Studies at 7 PM. The Small Group gatherings will focus on the study of Phillip Yancy’s "The Jesus I Never Knew". The Small Group study offers an opportunity to deepen our relationship with God through Jesus. Yancy commented “For several years I taught a class on Jesus that relied on movie depictions of his life. Out of that class came this book, for teaching it gave me a new and different perspective on his work - his teachings, his miracles, his death and resurrection - and ultimately, who he was and why he came. In this book I emphasize the relational and personal rather than the scholarly. Who was this man Jesus? What was he like? No one who meets Jesus ever stays the same.”
