Grounds for Good Coffeehouse

We cordially invite all members of our community to join us each month, usually on the 1st Friday, for a casual gathering of friends in an informal setting that offers live music, art exhibits and, of course, coffee and snacks. The coffeehouse is held in Fellowship Hall, doors open at 7:30 PM, and entertainment runs from 8 PM till 11 PM. Each coffeehouse session is a fundraising effort for a specific mission or charitable organization. Past beneficiaries include Moorestown Ecumenical Neighborhood Development (MEND), The Saints Prison Ministry, and the Angel Tree Christmas.

We hope to see you there. Please contact us at church(at)meetwithGod.com if you have any questions, or if you'd like to participate as a musician or visual artist.

Irish Music Night at Grounds for Good Coffee House

Get into the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day a little early at Grounds for Good!  Join us Friday, March 2 in Fellowship Hall for live Irish music performed by First UMC’s very own Irish Band!  Enjoy an assortment of Irish toe-tappin’ and sing-along favorites, an art display featuring works by Robert Lipartito, free coffee and tea, hot chocolate, yummy homemade treats, and terrific fellowship.  This is a free event, and all proceeds raised will benefit the ARC of Burlington County, a  not-for-profit organization committed to helping improve the quality of life for children and adults with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities, as well as their families.  Doors open at 7:30, and music kicks off around 8.  Free childcare is available from 8-9:30.

CHILD CARE NOW AVAILABLE AT GROUNDS FOR GOOD COFFEEHOUSE!

In order to make our monthly coffeehouse available to parents with young children, we will now provide childcare from 8-9:30 p.m.  We hope that this gives more folks the opportunity to participate in the great fellowship available at our monthly events.  Please remember that admission to Grounds for Good is free!
