Wedding FUMC
Weddings are part of FUMC’s total ministry. The Pastors do more than officiate at a wedding ceremony – they are concerned with the couple’s spiritual growth.
A decision to be married in a church involves much more than finding a suitable backdrop for pictures, adequate seating, competent staff and music. There is an important distinction between a Christian and ‘civil’ wedding. A Christian wedding is designed for couples who decide to seek God in their lives and who fully intend to welcome the presence of God in their relationship as a married couple.
A minimum of three meetings with a pastor is required. This includes taking the Prepare Premarital Inventory.
